Congratulations

The parish extends congratulations to Fr. David Brough on his appointment as Vicar Forane of the Tallaght Deanery. We pray God's blessing on him and assure him of our support as he takes up this position and the extra work-load which it will entail.

Weekday Masses - Week Starting Sunday 31st October

Weekday masses in the parish for the coming week will be available in Holy Rosary on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 9.30a.m. Mass on Tuesday will be available in St. Martin's at 9.30a.m.

Monday 1st is the Feast of All Saints and there will be mass in St. Anne's at 11.30a.m. and Holy Rosary at 9.30a.m. and 7.30p.m.

Holy Rosary Church - First Anniversary Mass

There will be a mass to celebrate the first anniversary of the official opening of the new Holy Rosary Church on Monday 1st November 2010 at 7.30p.m. The celebrant will be Bishop Eamonn Walsh and everyone is very welcome.

Weekday masses in the parish for the coming week will be available in St. Anne's on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 10.00a.m. Mass on Tuesday will be available in St. Martin's at 9.30a.m.

Mission Sunday

Sunday 23rd October marks the annual worldwide Catholic celebration of Mission Sunday. Our prayers and donations on Mission Sunday help to support mission projects and allow Catholic communities worldwide to become self-sufficient and progress according to their own needs and traditions. A special collection will be taken up on Sunday for the Propagation of the Faith in aid of the Church's mission activities, replacing the usual Share collection.

Ecumenical Service for Holy Rosary Church

Our final celebration to mark the opening of the new replacement Holy Rosary Church will take place on Thursday 14th January at 7.30pm.  This will be an Ecumenical Service of thanksgiving, to which many friends of the Parish have been invited.  All are welcome to the service, and to stay for tea, coffee and chats afterwards.

Advent Penitential Service

This year's Advent Penitential service will be held at 8.00pm on Tuesday 15th December in Holy Rosary Church, Ballycragh. This is a joint event with the parishes of St Martin de Porres, Aylesbury and with Sacred Heart Parish, Killinarden. All are welcome.

St Anne's Church Upkeep

Advent Prayer

Sr Mary Leahy will lead an Advent prayer in Holy Rosary church on the first three Mondays of Advent - 30th November, 7th and 14th December from 8.00 to 9.00pm. Each session will consist of a short talk, time for personal prayer and reflection, and there will be some material for prayer for the following week.
 
Night prayer of the Church will be said in Holy Rosary Church on the Thursdays of Advent: 3rd, 10th and 17th December, 7.45pm to 8.00pm.
 
All are welcome to both of the above.
